NFL20 Ep34- Oily Discs and Playoff Picks (in association with Adam Vinatieri)

Welcome back to the NFL20 Podcast- one of the top four NFL podcasts in the Greater Whetstone area, and this week in association with Adam Vinatieri!

Well, it's 2019 and Amberish and Andrew have returned from their travels (and stopped playing Red Dead Redemption 2) just long enough to fit in a sleek new episode of NFL20.

This week/month the dudes dive into the promising batch of games for the wild card weekend. Amberish's guaranteed money* system takes on Andrew's brain and the two mighty machines mostly agree one the winners- should Andrew be worried for his humanity?

Elsewhere we find out the breadth of Andrew's Ultimate Frisbee knowledge as he possibly invents a new type of throw, Amberish calls Joe Flacco average (again), and the guys seem to figure out that Khalil Mack is good. All this and more on the latest droppings from the NFL20 tree!

NFL20 Ep 30- The One With All the Sphincters

NFL20 reaches the grand old 3-0, and Amberish and Andrew celebrate by, erm, talking about NFL.

This week you'll hear interesting facts about the human body and the football fans of LA. We take an in-depth look at a trio of games from the week that was Week 1, and Amberish heroically whizzes through the rest of those games, leaving a destructive trail of jokes in his wake.

Then, naturally, the boyz look forward to the Saints @ Panthers, Seahawks @ Titans and Chiefs @ Chargers tilts. Statistical probabilities of victory are of course provided, but not before we reveal our second DESEAN/SHONE/SHAUN OF THE WEEK winner!

Thanks to all who listen, and responding to fan feedback which felt that Ep 29 left out too much of the endearing banter and bullshit that NFL20 is known for, the guys have chucked all that stuff right back in! Rock 'n roll!

Don't forget everyone, you can tweet us @nfl_20, or email us over 140 characters of abuse at nfl20pod@gmail.com. Be like Marta.

Peace out.

Ep 29- Return of the King(s)

Welcome back the fourth biggest NFL studs in the Greater Whetstone area!!

That's right it's Ep 29 of the NFL 20 podcast, Greater Whetstone's fourth most irregular NFL show. After popular demand (three people) demanded our return, we decided to shake off the long, boring off-season, and ignore that snoozeworthy Super Bowl, and get back into action with Week 1 reviews, including the Monday night games which hadn't happened at the time of recording. We called the Saints @ Vikings game slightly wrong, but give Amberish credit for pretty much nailing the Chargers @ Broncos matchup!

Elsewhere, we announce some actual fan-mail (from a GIRL no less), cover Brock Osweiler's handsomeness, and unveil a semi-exciting new weekly award. And if that wasn't enough, we even preview some fiery Week 2 matchups- Patriots @ Saints, Packers @ Falcons, and the Super Bowl preview Eagles @ Chiefs, complete with bettings odds guaranteed to win you money!*. Who needs David Johnson when you have Amberish and Andrew- two fantasy studs! Bwaargh.

This bumper one hour episode goes out to all our loyal fans. Hang about until the end to hear Andrew work remedial tiger penis medicine into an NFL joke! S'brilliant I tell you.

p.s. sorry we didn't make an episode for nine months.

Ep 28- Wildcards and Gladrags

It's here- NFL20 Ep 28!

A mere 2 or 3 weeks after our last pod, Whetstone's fourth biggest NFL studs are back with more American Foozball goodness.

This week it's about the Wildcard previews, as teams good and shit from all over the NFL fight over who gets to lose to New England. Even Minnesota has its part to play. Featuring as usual are some terrible puns, two of which we apologize for (and many which we don't). Who's that Other Guy in Oakland's backfield? Will A-A-ron Rodgers outclass Eli in the cold? How in the world can Miami keep up with the Steelers? And just how will ex-basketball player John Fant hold up against a sterling Detroit pass rush? We don't know any of this, but we guessed.

Also included is a free guaranteed* money-making scheme known as Amberish's Superbowl probabilities. Which is ironic because Amberish received a scam phone call during the making of this pod. But our man has shrugged off the heated attentions of 'Kate Mark' at 'Digital Network Services' and laid down the percentages of each team winning the Superb Owl, and one team has come out on top. By quite a long way. And it ain't Miami.

Live long and prosper!

NFL20 Ep 25- Big Sexy AFC Off-Season Shiz

Hiiiii-dee-hoowww!

It's time for NFL20 Episode 25, in which Amberish and Andrew rip through the entire conference like a big, sexy fire, recapping all the major free agency and draft moves the teams have been making.

Find out the root of why Amberish says 'Mike Waaaaaaallace' in that weird way he does, and how Andrew looks like a tennis ball these days. Not to mention- the inside track on how the division standings will end up, thanks to Amberish and his Predictor-tron simulating the season 500 times! The man is never wrong*!

Episode also includes a record-breaking number of wicked musical interludes, which we totally got the licence for.

NFL20 Episode 23

Welcome to NFL20 Ep 23!

Yes, after another mini-hiatus super-studs Andrew and Amberish are back. Amberish is finally back in the UK, meaning no more Skype podcasts, and you can clearly tell the difference in audio quality (totally).

This week we look at THE DIVISIONAL ROUND, as well as the Wild Card matches that just happened. Dirty, dirty Pittsburgh and 27th-ranked Washington get handled, while our detailed analysis for Carolina v Seattle goes as far as naming one, then all three of the surfaces on which that game will be played. On the way to predicting our Divisional winners we find out some interesting facts about the inventor of Segways, and Amberish's system odds on who'll win the Superb-Owl.

Caution, like every other piece of media released in the last 6 months, contains Star Wars spoilers.

NFL20 Episode 15- Return of the Kings

Welcome (back) to the NFL20 Podcast- one of the top four NFL podcasts in the Greater Whetstone area!

Firstly we must apologize profusely to our dedicated listeners (both of them) for going missing for over a month. Various cocktails of illnesses and travelling have kept us away from our one true passion- wowing you with our lack of knowledge. But we're back, just in time for the pointy end of the season!

In this week’s episode Amberish tells us about stomach staplings, we hear about that great Broncos
quarterback Walter Payton, and Andrew recalls some Jay Cutler bathroom antics
(which may or may not have happened). Also, we imagine the greatness that would
be Jay Cutler making throws to surprise wide receiver…Carson Palmer.

NFL20 Episode 13- The One With The Signing Bonus

Episode 13 of the NFL20 Podcast- one of the top four NFL podcasts in the Greater Whetstone area!

A fairly regular episode this week, although it's laughs aplenty as we discuss Allen Bailey's signing bonus, a couple of great moments from the Patriots-Colts game.
And as the regular season draws to its end, we take a look at who's still in the playoff hunt.
There may be the odd dick joke to be heard.

2014 Division Winners (after week 8)

Here are the teams The System thinks will in each division:

In Short:
AFC
East: Patriots
North: Ravens
South: Colts
West: Broncos
Wild-cards: Bengals, Chargers

NFC
East: Eagles
North: Lions
South: Saints
West: Cardinals
Wild-cards: Cowboys, Packers

AFC East: Patriots looking quite comfortable to take the division.

AFC North: Ravens favourites with Bengals potentially pushing them very close.

AFC South: Colts should win this one.

AFC West: Broncos should prove too strong, despite being in a tough division.

AFC Wild-Cards: Bengals and Chargers are favourites to take these spots. Steelers, Chiefs, and Bills are all in with a good shot at making the play-offs.

NFC East: Eagles and Cowboys are almost inseparable, with the Eagles currently having a slight edge.

NFC North: Lions and Packers are both in with a shot of winning, with the Lions ahead by a hair. Will probably come down to the Week 17 match-up between each other.

NFC South: Saints are the favourites, although that could change with this weeks big game against the next best Panthers.

NFC West: Cardinals have almost pulled far enough away from the Seahawks to be outright favourites.

NFC Wild-Cards: Cowboys and Packers (or whichever teams come out worse off in the divisional battles) are the two favourites, with the Seahawks and 49ers in with a good chance too.

Just like last year, I will make a gut Superbowl prediction (it isn't from the system, although it is based on information from the system):

This time when the Broncos make it to the Superbowl they light it up. Just like everyone expected. The greatest offence assembled in many years coupled with a powerful defence proves too much for the surprise package Eagles, who overcome some tough opponents to make it to the big game.
With his new ring, Peyton does retire this time!

NFL20 Episode 7

Episode 7 of the NFL20 Podcast- one of the top four NFL podcasts in the Greater Whetstone area!

This week Amberish is in India, which is a big place, so we've put together a bumper edition of the pod via Skype for y'all, all while wearing minimal clothing (webcams off, obvs.)

In this episode Amberish's finally gives us the low-down on his long-awaited home advantage calculation system. Who's the best? Who's the worst? Some of the results....may surprise you.

And we go through all the weekend's games, making a few cheeky bets along the way. Who bets on the Chiefs to top the Patriots? And who tips Oakland to win in London? Listen, and all will be revealed!
